Updates!

Today is the last day before Day 1 of the Military diet again!

It has been so nice to be able to eat normal healthy meals instead of crackers and eggs! Hehe

Losing 10 pounds has really motivated me though to work even harder and I actually can't wait to start my 3 days back up! I liked knowing that I had something specific to eat for every meal and I didn't have to think about what to make for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Some things I have been eating these past 4 days have been, salad, sushi, strawberries, and I made my Spaghetti Squash! It was GREAT!

Here are some motivational pictures that I found on my pinterest board that I am loving!

GUYS I DID IT! I LOST 10 POUNDS!

I am so excited to share with everyone that the military diet is working!
It might be really hard and some days I just want to eat a slice of pizza, but the results are so worth it!

I am on my Day 2 of my 4 days off from the diet!
All I have had so far is asian chicken salad, subway and sushi!

I will check back with you guys later!

Hey everyone I'm sorry I havn't updated you guys! Today marks Day 2 on my military diet! The breakfast and lunches haven't been hard at ALL but the dinners are miserable...

DAY 1:

Breakfast - 1/2 Grapefruit, 1 slice of toast, 2 tablespoons of Peanut Butter and plain coffee or tea.

Lunch - 1/2 cup of tuna, 1 slice of toast and plain coffee or tea.

Dinner - 3 ounces of any type of meat, 1 cup of Green Beans, 1/2 Banana, 1 small apple and 1 cup of Vanilla Ice Cream (the best part hehe)

Day 2:

Breakfast - 1 egg (which I scrambled), 1 slice of toast, and 1/2 banana.

Lunch - 1 cup of cottage cheese or 1 slice of cheddar cheese (which I opted for, I am too scared to try cottage cheese!), 1 hard boiled egg, and 5 saltine crackers.

Dinner - 2 hot dogs without the buns, 1 cup of Broccoli, 1/2 cup of carrots, 1/2 banana, and 1/2 cup of Vanilla Ice Cream.

Day 3:

Breakfast - 5 saltine crackers, 1 slice of cheddar cheese, and 1 small apple.

Lunch - 1 hard boiled egg and 1 slice of toast

Dinner - 1 cup of tuna, 1/2 banana, and 1 cup of Vanilla Ice Cream.

AND THAT'S IT....well for the next 4 days!
You take 4 days off to not eat the diet but you have to keep eating healthy in order for it to work! Then after those 4 days you start up again!

The diet is a chemical breakdown and is proven. Do not vary or substitute any of the above foods. Salt and Pepper may be used but no other seasoning.

Here are some pictures of my diet!

Here is my Day 1 breakfast! (I used an orange instead of a grapefruit! oops)
YUUUUMMM

Day 1 dinner!
This one was really hard because I HATE BANANA'S! But I got through it!

Here is me today going for my morning walk! Haha this is my "let's get fit face"!

                                     TIME FOR LUNCH!
So I haven't been to the grocery store to finish my shopping so all I could think of to have today for lunch was a piece of baked chicken the size of my palm with a little bit of Dijon mustard. And of course I had water!

Okay it looks a little bigger than the size of my palm but I didn't all of it I promise! Haha after that and all the bottles of water I drink a day fill my stomach up as well!

Changed my background of my phone to these today as well!
TALK ABOUT MOTIVATION!

Hi Everyone!

Day 1 is complete and I didn't die! WOOH! Time to celebrate with a smoothie instead of a cupcake!
It has already been a challenge due to the fact that I started so suddenly and on Fat Tuesday (; haha
I have so many people with me supporting me along the way that there is no way I won't be able to fail! I also have my best friend doing it with me!

It makes it so much better that you have someone so close to you helping you out along the way !
We both agreed on loosing weight because we both agreed, "Hey, we are already gorgeous and have a good personality, do you know what we would be like with a hot body?!" Hahaha

So on that note, here's what Day 2's breakfast looked like!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE strawberries! One time I ate an entire box and still wanted more! I guess I make up for my hatred of vegetables with fruit. Right? I love every kind of fruit! I had a little cup of coffee with a tablespoon of coffee creamer...I know it's one of my habits I have to kick!

Today I will most likely go on a walk around my neighborhood so I can take it slow!

And before I leave check out this to die for outfit I can't wait buy when I lose weight (:

Today starts the first day of my weight           loss journey!

I went grocery shopping today and bought myself some goodies to start my new clean eating menu.
My mom always told me that to stay focused in the grocery store you have to stick to the perimeter to the store and DONT GO IN THE MIDDLE! In the middle is where all of the cake mixes and processed snack foods are. hehe

Anyway here are some pics of the food I started out with!

I got this huge squash that was only 99 cents! What I do with this is cut it in half, and broil it in the oven for around 20 minutes. When I take it out of the oven it is extremley soft and all I do is take a bowl and run a fork from the top to the bottom and it literally turns into strings and it looks like Spaghetti! I eat a huge bowl with a little bit of tomatoe sauce and it tastes just like spaghetti!
Here is a pack of fresh chicken breast that I can do so much with! You can easily salt and pepper this chicken and bake it in the oven where it is completly healthy! You can chop this up and add it in salads, or just eat it with fresh vegetables.
I got some turkey deli meat which isn't always the healthiest choice but you can easily put this in a whole wheat tortilla with vegetables and mustard for a nice wrap!
I got some cinnamon sticks for this new detox drink that I am going to be starting. All it is is an apple thinly sliced, with one cinnamon stick in a jug of water! I can't wait to start!
I got some yummy Fiji apples for my detox drink and also for a quick snack! These are awesome and will always be one of my favorite fruits!
I don't know about you but I LOVE SWEET POTATOES! They are huge and a perfect solution for a baked potato and such a yummy dinner! All I do is pop one of these in a microwave for five minutes and when it gets out I open it up down the middle and I put a tiny bit of butter, and cinnamon in it and it is out of this world!
My local grocery store had these cute little mini limes for five for a dollar! WOOH! I love limes to put in a jug of water with lemons for a nice drink! Also limes are cute squeezed over chicken or any meat! Plus I couldn't pass up on the amazing deal!
I got lemons and they were pretty big for three for a dollar! I love love love lemons and I literally use them all the time! I cook with them but I also use them for my skin! I cut one in half and put a drop of honey on the slice and rub it all over my skin that is freshly washed and exfoliated and it makes my skin amazingly soft!
I got something basic as well which is just plain eggs which you can do so much with!

My mom snapped some pictures of me today for my before pictures! SCARY! Hahaha so here we go!
                                                            LETS GET STARTED!
